FEATURED ON OUR ONES TO WATCH VIMEO CHANNEL!
Dollhouse is a short documentary centred on reborn artist Kate Charles. Kate spends her days creating realistic looking baby dolls. From the body, to the skin hair and clothes, she creates the dolls to sell to their future parents.
What starts off feeling like a creepy documentary about reborn dolls soon turns into a heartwarming piece that explores themes of art and motherhood. We slowly begin to fall in love with the dolls as well as Kate and appreciate her as an artist. I think what this documentary presents best of all is the idea of mastering your craft, something I think Kate has achieved.
